| Description: | MEPRIMET VG2 PLUS Tablet is a triple-combination antidiabetic medication containing: Glimepiride 2mg – a sulfonylurea that stimulates insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells. Metformin 500mg – a biguanide that reduces hepatic glucose production and improves insulin sensitivity. Voglibose 0.3mg – an alpha-glucosidase inhibitor that delays carbohydrate digestion and absorption, helping control post-meal blood sugar spikes. This formulation is used in the management of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, particularly in patients requiring enhanced glycemic control with strong postprandial management. The higher strength of Glimepiride and Voglibose provides effective control of both fasting and post-meal glucose levels. |
