Description: Ceftigest 50mg Dry Syrup is an antibiotic medication commonly prescribed to children for the treatment of various bacterial infections. It is effective against infections affecting the ear, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, urinary tract, and gastrointestinal system. Additionally, it may be used in managing uncomplicated typhoid fever in children and adolescents.

💯 For best results, Ceftigest 50mg Dry Syrup should be administered either one hour before or two hours after meals to enhance its absorption. However, if your child experiences stomach discomfort, it can be given with food. The dosage and duration of this medication are determined by the doctor based on the nature and severity of the infection. Be sure to follow the prescribed schedule precisely. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the dose, you can give the same dose again. However, if the next scheduled dose is near, do not give a double dose.

❌ Avoid using this antibiotic to treat viral infections like the common cold or flu, as antibiotics are ineffective against viruses. It is only prescribed in such cases when a bacterial infection is suspected to be present alongside the viral symptoms.
