Description: Agromycin 100mg Syrup (Peppermint Flavour) is an antibiotic formulation commonly prescribed to children for treating a variety of bacterial infections. These may include infections of the ear, eyes, nose, throat, lungs, skin, and gastrointestinal system.
This medicine belongs to the macrolide class of antibiotics and works by stopping the bacteria from growing and multiplying. By interfering with their protein synthesis, Agromycin 100mg Syrup helps control and eliminate the infection from the body.

💊 Dosage & Administration:
Agromycin 100mg Syrup is generally administered once daily, preferably in the morning. However, for specific conditions like typhoid, the doctor may advise it twice daily. It can be given with or without food, but it is preferably given with meals to reduce the chance of stomach upset, which is common in children.
The exact dosage and duration depend on factors such as the type and severity of the infection, as well as the child’s age, weight, and overall health. Therefore, always follow the doctor’s prescription carefully.
🔁 If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking the medicine, you may repeat the same dose.

📝 Important Notes:
Most children begin to show improvement within 1–2 days of starting the medication.
Despite early signs of recovery, it’s crucial to complete the full course of treatment to prevent relapse or resistance.
Do not stop the medicine abruptly without medical advice.
